Adult Overseas Passport Application (5 page form only)

This appointment is for an adult applying for a Australian passport using the 5 page overseas passport application form only.

The turnaround time for a full validity passport is up to six weeks. If you have an urgent need to travel and your passport is expired or has been lost or stolen, please phone our office on (310)-229-2300 during business hours.

Incomplete or incorrectly completed applications cannot be accepted. Application requirements are determined by Australian legislation and Australian Passport Office policy, and these requirements cannot be waived by Passport Office staff.

Rejected applications are returned to applicants and require re-lodgement. This applies to all applicants regardless of how far the applicant lives from the Consulate.

Some simple errors may be able to be resolved at the interview, however most require the applicant to re-visit the Consulate at a later appointment date.

Child Under 16 Overseas Passport Application

30 mins

This appointment is to apply for an Australian passport for a child under the age of 16. The child is not required to attend if they are under the age of 16.

Certified copies, witnessing signatures, statutory declarations, affidavits, oaths and affirmations, authentications, apostilles and other notarial services.

One appointment should be booked for each application. Appointments are not required to collect passports.
